A Legacy of Adventure in the Scenic Rim

Following the devastation of the 2019 Black Summer bushfires, Binna Burra Lodge reimagined its future. Seed funding for a via ferrata concept led to a successful Queensland Government tourism initiative, and the vision has now been realised with a multi-million-dollar investment into a premium adventure experience that strengthens Queensland’s eco-tourism offering.
The result? A destination that blends physical challenge, personal growth and unforgettable natural surroundings.

The Arête Via Ferrata Climb
Step over the edge and begin your ascent. Cross an 80-metre suspended bridge, navigate tightropes and timber log crossings, scale dramatic cliff faces with the rainforest below and views stretching towards the Gold Coast.
Total Exposure Zipline
Launch into the park’s longest and highest zipline, soaring up to 400 metres above Lamington National Park. It’s pure freedom — fast, high and unforgettable. Then you’ll navigate back to base via a thrilling Via Ferrata section.
