Cascading valley views from your breakfast bar and the scent of morning campfires are on the horizon when you book a Binna Burra Safari tent escape. They are a comfortable way of camping and getting amongst the rainforest without the hassle of putting up a tent. Tents are located a short distance from the free car parking area, so expect to carry your gear a little way (including steps) to the tent – it’s worth it!
Choose from three types of Safari tents:
- Compact Safari tent: max 3 occupants
- Standard Safari tent: max 6 occupants
- Suite Style Safari tent: max 4 occupants

Extra comforts available for all Safari Tents:
- Access to shared fire pits
- Access to free BBQ facilities (Bring your own cooking equipment and cutlery)
- Communal camp fridge available, as well as microwaves and boiling water.
- All safari tents are made from canvas, with mesh windows and vinyl floors
Please note, only the suite style Safari tent has access to 240v power, all other tents have only USB power access. There are no fridges in the tents. Cooking is not permitted inside any Safari tents.
Note: Campsite and Bunkroom bookings from late 2023 until early 2024 may experience low noise interruptions from the construction of our new welcome building.

THE SKY LODGES
Award-winning accommodation. Spacious one, two and three bedroom apartments, and studios.
An amazing location and area to experience. The walks are inspiring and feel of the place is spiritual. The view from our accommodation was so beautiful it's hard to find the words to describe. Nature has a way of healing and I certainly felt that during my stay here.
The drive is quite decent for its location when compared to driving up O Reilly's. Facilities are modern and well cared for. Expect leeches and scorpions during warmer periods. Staff are friendly and catered for our needs. Cafe opens at 730 and have decent coffee. There is also a beautiful wood lodge that us a bar with a campfire outside to keep warm. Showers are hot and immaculate. Recommended using the new showers as the older ones are warm. Kitchen, hot water microwave , fridge throughout site. Small gift shop.Will go again.
A wonderful place to de-stress. Beautiful trails to wander, great customer service, fantastic restaurants, a range of accommodation options and nature everywhere. Staff are polite, helpful and caring. The food in the Tea House is delicious, with large serves. We had a fantastic time.
Just had the best experience having our wedding at the Mount Roberts venue, they provided us with the most amazing service and the venue and sky lodges were both breath taking. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the cafe was divine.
Stayed in Safari Tent for 2 nights mid winter. Was chilly at night so bring warm clothes and bedding. Some of the tents (higher up) have spectacular views. Cafe 100m away has good food and coffee.Walks on the area are fabulous.
We (couple) had an amazing stay here. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, very clean toilets and hot showers and great food at the restaurant. Terrific place to start hiking and to rest a bit.
My partner took me here to propose to me which automatically makes this place so special to me! Beautiful place, well sign posted and tracks were in good condition considering it was raining leading up to the day and it was easy to find our way back and wasn't too risky getting to the waterfall.
I had dinner at the cafe on Friday and Saturday night. I had pre purchased a 3 course meal for each night. Each meal was absolutely delicious. The menu was extensive with a huge range of gf and df options. The chef cooked and presented everything beautifully with strict adherence to not cross contaminating the gf meal items. The drinks menu Included a wide range of local beers, ciders and wines. This restaurant is high up on my favourites list.
We have stayed twice in the sky lodges now, once in a studio and last weekend we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The sky lodges are amazing, complete luxury, nothing to fault, very private, well equipped, the views are outstanding, the service we received is 5 star. We booked dinner in the tea room for the Sat night and the food is incredible (our parents loved it!!) once again nothing to fault. Bit wet and slippery for a couple of the walks that were advised by the office, so probably should not have taken the parents, as it was a bit much for them, but they survived ok Thank you again and we will be back : )
We absolutely loved our visit to Binna Burra. The walks nearby are super stunning (would particularly recommended the Coomera Falls circuit for a full day hike). We also went on a guided night walk. It was a real highlight to see native snakes, animals and bugs that you don't normally catch during the day, and our guide Suzanne was lovely and super knowledgeable. Can't wait to visit again!
Amazing and beautiful views.The room was just the right size, super comfortable.The food from the tea house was great and the portions were nice and big.The Grooms cottage is the perfect place to sit back and relax after a long day hiking.
Camped here in my van for 3 days. Lovely spot, great atmosphere. Staff were very friendly at check in. Amenities were spotless and hot showers were awesome after a full days trekking. Evenings were cool as you are at 800m which is pleasant for sleeping and it means they can get the fire pits going in the evening. Totally recommend this place and will be back again and again I’m sure.
