Light of Nature Painting Workshop

Drawing upon mindful observation, participants will create a little take-home abstract painting.

    • pristine nature, light and the Binna Burra community
  • You will create:
    • 1 acrylic painting on canvas
    • Additional paintings on paper

• Bring:
  • An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting paint on, water bottle and a readiness to be inspired.
  • No skills are required– we focus on the enjoyment of nature and creativity.
  • Your Facilitator: Artist Helle Cook explores the sensory experience of light and nature in her practice. She often immerses herself in the natural environments of Binna Burra and beyond for inspiration for her paintings. Helle holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) and has had exhibitions and artist residencies in Australia, Italy and Denmark. She can't wait to share her passion for art, light and nature.
