Local artist, Dave Groom, will teach you how to:
- sketch ideas on to a canvas
- create a landscape painting with a balanced composition
- blend and layer colours to create foreground detail and depth
- In the workshop, you will create one or more finished oil paintings.
- Your facilitator Dave Groom is a professional artist who works in a nearby studio. His work is inspired by the local forests which he depicts using oil paint, pastel, and charcoal. Dave generally works from his imagination to create landscapes that are a mix of dreamscape and realism.
