What is check-in and out time?

Check-in is at 2pm and check out is at 10am.

Are there TVs in the rooms?

The traditional Mountain Lodge rooms do not feature Televisions, our founder's original vision was that these rooms would assist in helping guests relax and reconnect with nature and heritage. We are pleased to offer our newer Sky Lodge apartments which include televisions

Do the rooms have private bathrooms?

All rooms except the Casuarina rooms have private ensuites. The Casuarina rooms feature a washbasin vanity unit and have separate bathroom facilities close to rooms on the same level that are shared by just a small number of other guests.

What are the 'Mountain Lodge' rooms?

This is the category of our original traditional Mountain lodge cabins. They are the: Casuarina, Acacia and Rosewood rooms.

What are the 'Sky Lodge' apartments?

This is the category of our new award-winning apartments. They are available in a Studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartment configuration.

Do the Mountain Lodge rooms have separate bedrooms?

The Mountain Lodge rooms are all open-plan and do not feature separate bedrooms. The newer Sky Lodge 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are separated.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?

All rooms have heaters included, but no rooms feature cold air conditioning. Rest assured, Binna Burra Lodge is often 5-10 degrees cooler than the Gold Coast even in the peak of Summer due to its high altitude.

What time do things open at Binna Burra Lodge?

Reception - our front desk is open from 8am, 7 days a week. 

The Clifftop Dining Room is open for buffet breakfast and dinner 7 days a week. The Breakfast service is open from 7:30am - 9:30am. We ask that you arrive between 5:30pm and 7pm for the Buffet Dinner service.

The Lamington Teahouse is open 7 days a week.
Monday to Friday - open from 9:30am to 3:30pm.
Saturday - open from 7:30am to 8:00pm

Sunday - open from 7:30am to 4pm

Is Binna Burra Lodge wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have specific rooms that are totally wheelchair accessible and suited. We also have wheelchair access to our Cafe and Dining Room. Please call us to check availability of our wheelchair accessible accommodation.

Can day visitors join in on activities like Abseiling, Flying Fox?

Of course! You can book any and all activities available each week here: .

Are there BBQs available for use?

There are electric BBQs located in the National Parks area near the Lamington Teahouse and coin-operated gas BBQ's in our campsite area.

For day visitors and guests, BBQ packs and packed lunches can be purchased from the Front Desk.

Is there a shop / Grocery store for supplies?

The Reception Guest Lounge features a small craft shop which sells basic items, snacks and drinks. The nearest grocery store is in a town called Canungra which is about a 25-minute drive from Binna Burra Lodge.

How does car parking work?

We have a large car park at both the Lodge and Teahouse cafe, which are both free of charge.

Are the Safari tents or campsites powered?

The only accessory power available in our campsite is on our Drive-On powered sites. There is no accessory power in any of the Safari tents or tent pitch sites.
