SUMMARY:Stakeholder Consultation - New Lodge and Accommodation
DESCRIPTION:Update on the design of the new lodge and accommodation. \n\nThe Lodge Design Committee (LDC) has been working hard to keep the initial concept of a two story lodge and the building of 36 rooms within the $18 million grant funds from the Queensland Government. The continuing dramatic increase in construction costs has required the need for major re-designs to match the funds available. Accordingly\, the Board has accepted the LDC recommendation to revise the plan and design a single story lodge and keep the 36 rooms permissible under our local planning rules.\nThe new single story lodge design concepts will be shared with shareholders for feedback during an online workshop on Thursday 17 August at 5.30 pm start (Queensland time). All shareholders are most welcome to join in – this is the zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86321318416. The online workshop will also be recorded and made available to all shareholders who can give feedback as usual on the website at: www.binnaburralodge.com.au/new-lodge-and-accommodation/\nDesign of the new lodge & accommodation at Mt. Roberts. This link on the website also includes the Q&A section; the latest version of the ‘fly-through animation’ of the design following stakeholder feedback in 2022 and the updated new lodge & accommodation plans.
