Helpful information for your stay

What you will experience here is very special, and so it is our aim to ensure that you spend your time wisely and maximize your getaway. This guide gives a basic insight into some of the activities you can participate in while you’re here as well as hopefully help you choose which walks you may want to do. For a more comprehensive description of the walks within the park, there is a number of books available from the gift shop.



  • Sign in to the bushwalker's diary at reception 
  • Take water, sunscreen and a hat
  • Wear boots (many accidents are to those wearing joggers)
  • Take a first aid kit if you have one• Stay on the track
  • Watch your step, i.e.: cliffs and slippery rocks
  • Do not interfere with any wildlife
  • Check the weather report for storms etc.

Cleanliness and hygiene have always been of the utmost importance here at Binna Burra. Our team works hard to ensure the best eco-friendly cleaning products and practices are used in our Sky Lodges, campsite, cafe, and public areas. We are pleased to say that we have now ramped it up even further with extra cleaning protocols and processes, to make sure you stay safe and can enjoy all things Binna Burra completely stress-free.

We have partnered with locally operated adventure company ParkTours to get you exploring the great outdoors. Take your pick from archery, guided park tours and full-day hikes, spotlighting night walks, yoga, Qi Gong, kids club and more! View some of our favourite activities below:


Guided adventures through Lamington National Park. Some of these walks are rated as the best in Australia by Australian Geographic and offer a range of different distances and attractions.


Everyone loves to shoot arrows. In fact, archery has been around for almost 15,000 years and was once critical to human survival. Our guides will explain how to hold the bow and aim for the target.


Kids love Binna Burra, and we strive to ensure our younger guests are not forgotten! We have a great range of activities to keep the kids entertained during your stay with us.


Start your day with outdoor Yoga or the ancient energising practice of Qi Gong. These are both gentle classes designed to connect you to yourself and the surrounding natural world.
