Friends of Binna Burra

Friends of Binna Burra (FOBB's) is a volunteer group that was established in 1985. The group is comprised of people who share a genuine love of the environment and who want to be actively involved in conserving the natural beauty that surrounds Binna Burra Mountain Lodge.

FOBB's meets on four weekends of the year to undertake a variety of supportive activities from general maintenance of the area to revegetation and the removal of noxious weeds. A large area of garden and rainforest revegetation is seen on the Lodge Loop path in the area directly below the Lodge cabins is a result of FOBB's activities.

The patio area at Binna Burra Lodge was a FOBB's project. This area is now one of the most useful resources for the Lodge as it allows guests to enjoy the views of the Coomera Gorge and Darlington Ranges as well as providing BBQ facilities for various Lodge functions and meal variety.

Anyone interested in doing volunteer work within FOBB's is most welcome. Information can be obtained from the Lodge - fill in this form and send it to us, or telephone us on 07 5533 3622.
