Brisbane-based accounting firm, Arabon, held its annual strategic planning retreat at Binna Burra recently. Delegates arrived on the Sunday evening and gathered for an introductory session after having enjoyed a sumptuous dinner in the Clifftop Dining Room.
Their three day program was held in the Pottery Shed and was led by several facilitators including Chris Harasty who has recently joined Binna Burra's panel of facilitators.
Arabon's Principal, Michelle McDowall, was keen that their conference included some practical team development skills. "Binna Burra's guest activities staff had us outdoors working in teams in an exercise called 'rogaining'. The teams were competing with each other but team members had to work together to win", explained Michelle. "And then the GA's tested us with the high ropes course where you absolutely put your trust in your colleagues' hands."
"The food was great" commented Jelena Hahn, one of the practice's partners, "and the Binna Burra staff really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble. I'd be happy to recommend it as a venue for groups of 10 to 50 people."
Throughout the year, Binna Burra hosts an array of conference groups.
The luxury Sky Lodges and the Lamington Conference Room offer new options for our corporate guests. Binna Burra's partners program means that husbands and wives can still attend and be kept entertained throughout.
