- The introduction of worm beds for composting of food and garden waste to be used as a fertiliser has greatly reduced the quantity of solid wastes needing to be removed from the mountain

- Binna Burra has installed a UV Filtration system to our water supply as an alternative to the use of chlorine
The environmental benefits achieve through the implementation of the EMP have resulted in a quantifiable reduction in Lodge operating costs and it is projected that these initiatives will generate even more savings in the future.
